Introduction Following the events of Revelation, an incident response team has been signalled for help by a spaceship lightyears away from home, the strenuous hail exhausting the ship's final iota of energy.
As part of the nameless underground organisation that NASA cultivates, you have been assigned the mission to rescue the reported 8 survivors and bring them back to planet Earth. The journey to the destination was quiet and well within plans. However, upon entering the confined insides of the ship, you have learned one horror.
All the survivors, it had seemed, have somehow failed to make it until your arrival. Summing it up, they must have been attacked by some unknown foreign species, because there were some very disturbing sounds in common room, quarantined by a thick ceiling-to-floor entrance. Just as your team was retreating, one of you was dragged away by a hideous creature down along one of the many hallways, forcefully pulled into a ventilation tunnel at the end. It was no rocket science to figure out that he was going to be dinner - if not something of worse fate. Trying to escape the same ending, your team moved further out.
The exit that you came in from was sealed with a layer of pulsing membrane, brown with patches of pus-looking boils spread out. It smelled just as well as it looked. It was then that it dawned upon all of you; this ship has been terrorised, and whatever the evil was, it is still living and has covered the entire ship.
The one good news is that you have your communicators on, allowing you to exchange information with the supercomputer that awaited your return in the rescue ship. With only a selected few utensils and weapons at arms, you must figure out a way to break through the seemingly impenetrable skin, all the while surviving wave after wave of alien critters, at night, that attempt to add you into their menu for whatever lies beyond the thicker walls of the quarantined room.
Mechanics The prowess of your survival is estimated by your three main stats, the chances of success influenced by your Health. You may gain random items from Events that help you along the way. There are NO CHARACTER ROLES - everyone starts out with the same Level 1 in every attribute. Your individual weapons/items will be distributed once the game officially begins.
Awareness: Increases your mind-map of how the ship's interiors look. A high level of Awareness lets you spot the tunnels that may be hidden, letting you reduce the number of attacks. Combats: Increases your fighting skills to save your skin when you patrol at night. High levels of infestation in the corridors prevent Data-types from researching the situation. Data: Various data in different forms are scattered throughout the ship (collect at your own risks). And maybe with enough information, you know how to tackle the horror behind that door keen on making you stay. Health: Replenish this from time to time or your chances of Event success will be reduced.
Experience Points collected vary depending on the events that occur and are gathered by performing action.
Shifts will now overtake the Phase system of Round 1: Revelation. Each shift lasts 18 hours in real-time, reflected as 1 hour in-game. All actions may be performed during any shift. You may perform only one action per shift. Between each shifts, there will be a 12 hours cooldown where actions are not taken into account. During the Cooldown period, you may receive a PM elaborating the details of private Events/Discoveries.
- Patrolling (+Awareness 50 exp): To keep the hallways safe. You may do so alone, or take a partner with you. Liable to encounter Ambush event.
- Plan attack (+Combats ? exp): You must have discovered the whereabouts of a Stray before you plan an attack. Stray aliens change locations after 2 shifts.
- Study specimen (+Data 70 exp): You must have defeated at least one alien to study it. When no one keeps guard, studying players may be ambushed and each have a 25% chance of instant-death.
- Seek items (Item get!): You may only search in areas that you have knowledge of and access to. Liable to encounter Ambush event.
- Restore (+Health 20%): Resting and eating lets you recuperate your health and sanity. Low health/sanity deters your chances of succeeding actions/events. When no one keeps guard, resting players may be ambushed and each have a 50% chance of instant-death (from Ambush event).
- Scout (+Awareness 100 exp): To discover new areas/leeways. Liable to encounter Ambush event.
- Keep guard (+Combats ? exp): To watch over teammates that are resting or studying. When no one keeps guard, resting players may be ambushed and each have a 50% chance of instant-death (from Ambush event), while studying players at 25% chance.
All actions are PUBLIC, except for individual discoveries which you may choose to share in here (nothing wrong with wanting someone dead if you don't get along). You may use this thread to discuss on the best course of actions to take. All actions must be highlighted with a colour code - failure to do so would equal to not taking action.
Your stats are listed in the beginning of every new Shift.
VICTORY CONDITION: Defeat mother alien. DEFEAT CONDITION: Run out of oxygen (by the end of Shift 12), or everyone dead.

[Yoshi]: I'm going to patrol the dining room to keep the number of aliens down low. Anyone joining me? [Chelsea]: I was thinking of studying the specimen again. But I don't wanna' be someone's dinner - turn your back and you're under attack, y'know? [Roger]: I'll keep guard of you then. [Chelsea]: You sure? You're pretty weak right now. [Roger]: I'll be fine! You're going to study then? [Chelsea]: Yep. I'll study on the specimen for this shift. [Roger]: //He hounds on her from the corner of the room, arms folded tightly as he keeps an alarmed lookout for any lurking dangers, silently keeping guard of Chelsea.// [Yoshi]: Fine. I'll patrol alone. [GM]: EVENT - Yoshi trailed down the hallways, leaving the female to study on the specimen and Roger to watch over her. Another one of those average-sized critters burst out from the ceiling vent and landed on the table in front of Chelsea. She tried to fight the alien off, but her Combats was too low! It clung onto her face to asphyxiate her. Roger attempted to rip the damn thing off her and kill it, but was flung back from its struggling free limbs and knocked out cold after hitting the wall. He was too weak! The last thing he saw was the woman struggling in vain as she was dragged out of the room ... Player Chelsea is now considered deceased. Player Roger's health reduced to 20%. Yoshi has gained some Awareness and levelled up to Level 3 Awareness. It is now Shift 7.

Now it's just a sausage party? [Roger]: Dude that's disgusting. [Yoshi]: I found some sausages in a can, though, on my patrol.* Want it? You can eat it whenever. [Roger]: Yeah, sure. Um, thanks? [GM]: Yoshi has given his item 'Sausages in a can' to Roger. [Roger]: I'll just eat it now. [GM]: Roger has gained 40% Health; he now has 60% Health. [Chelsea]: (olololol he ate his sausages top lol) [Roger]: Shut up dead ghost. [Yoshi]: What to do today... Oh, and before I forget, might wanna' watch out for the Pathologist's room. There's another one of those things in there. [Roger]: We should plan an attack on it, Yoshi. Just you and me now. [Yoshi]: Why not. //Agrees to attack.
