Hard shell? I wonder if that will have an effect on the host too....but the shells not that hard since it died to...but just what exactly killed it, Pathologist? The bullets or I don't know hemorrhage to the brain from the impact of the stuff we threw? 

The question I'm asking is what was the cause of the alien's death?
